Job Description:

Under moderate supervision, the Cookie Cupboard Representative supports the development and expansion of the Girl Scout Cookie Program by providing customer service at Balboa Program Center’s Cookie Cupboard.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in pulling orders, organizing pickups, and completing transactions by receiving signed receipts from customer.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Deliver reorders to cupboards located throughout San Diego & Imperial Counties as needed.
  • Restock all orders not picked up.
  • Take inventory as needed and directed.
  • Use internet inventory system to print orders and reconcile orders.
  • Forklift cookies as needed (onsite training will be provided).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, work with fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to perform physical work exerting up to 40 pounds of force often, and/or a negligible amount of force to move objects.
  • Ability to climb ladders.
  • Heavy visual acuity required performing such activities as preparing and reviewing inventory using computer systems.

Work Conditions

Outdoors, often beneath a shaded area. Occasional evening and/or weekend work. Some (paid) overtime may be required.
